Cover–More Travel Insurance, a global travel insurance provider, has worked with Bespoken since October 2020. Over this time, we have delivered a broad range of strategic communications support, including employee attraction campaigns, proactive media announcements and major website projects.
More recently, we have supported Cover‑More in communicating its digital transformation and its ongoing commitment to delivering specialised assistance for all travellers, all while reinforcing the organisation’s customer‑first approach in a rapidly evolving travel environment.
This work builds on a long‑standing partnership forged during one of the company’s most challenging periods. In 2020, we supported the announcement of Cover‑More’s interim global CEO and led communications as the pandemic brought global travel to a standstill. With operations across 15 countries, the organisation faced intense pressure, requiring clear, timely and consistent communications across multiple markets.
Since then, Bespoken has continued to support Cover‑More and its travel assistance division with comprehensive, day‑to‑day communications support. This includes media liaison, developing media strategies, writing, media pitching, managing social media channels, delivering internal communications, managing award submissions, and implementing updates across global websites and third-party information sources.
We delivered extensive support and planning to Cover-More during the intense period of COVID-19. As international travel began to resume, timing was everything. We had messaging, infographics and interview spokespeople prepared in advance. When Qantas and the Prime Minister made key announcements, we acted immediately, targeting top-tier journalists and outlets to reintroduce Cover-More to the market.
This support and planning was essential to maintain strong brand reputation and recognition during an unpredictable time that impacted the travel and insurance industry significantly.
We developed a strategy designed to strengthen Cover-More’s position as a leading travel insurance provider and trusted travel assistance partner across Australia and key global markets.
In a travel environment that is constantly changing, Cover-More continues to enhance its products, services and assistance capabilities to meet the evolving needs of travellers. We have helped showcase this ongoing commitment to innovation and customer care, reinforcing Cover-More’s reputation as a trusted provider that allows people to travel with confidence.
