A dynamic leader, Sarah brings her 20+ years of experience to develop and deliver tailored and strategic plans that surpass client briefs and KPIs. She has worked with many high-profile companies, including Lendlease, Coles Development, RetireAustralia and Cover-More Travel Insurance. The industries she has worked with include hospitality, recruitment and HR, technology, renewables, construction, aged care, property and not-for-profit organisations. She also has a strong journalism background as a former senior reporter with several regional newspapers, magazines and online publications. An accomplished communicator who is a strategic and creative thinker, Sarah is highly sought after to provide crisis communications advice, media management and stakeholder engagement. She is also regularly engaged for public speaking and runs creative problem-solving workshops.

Rochella Brisset

Operations Director

Rochella is an experienced financial accountant with more than 20 years commercial experience in service industries, ranging from small to global companies. Her extensive experience has allowed her to gain and practice a broad knowledge of various business operations. Rochella’s expertise in analysis and reporting for her clients makes her a trusted part of the team. Rochella worked for Flight Centre for seven years in a variety of finance roles including; Global Financial Accountant, Financial Accountant and Team Leader. During her extensive time, Rochella was responsible for FCL Group’s monthly reporting and analysis, preparation of yearly budget packs, management and reporting of global fixed assets and other various business operations.

Michaela Ryan

General Manager

Although she began her career as a lawyer with Minter Ellison, Michaela has worked in media and communications for more than two decades. She is an experienced journalist and editor, having written predominantly for magazines and online publications. She has worked in PR and communications in the higher education and agriculture sectors, and managed website and multimedia production for several Network Ten television productions. For many years Michaela ran her own video production and communications business. She speaks Japanese and French, having spent time studying in both Japan and France.

Jenna McManus

Head of Marketing

Jenna is an experienced marketing professional with more than 15 years’ experience. She brings together her love of brand, retail and consumer marketing to deliver strategies that are relevant and built to engage. Jenna has delivered campaigns for both global brands and local organisations. More recently, she led the brand refresh for Bespoken client Australian Pineapples, alongside ongoing retail engagement work with Australian Mangoes. With a strong understanding of the digital and social landscape, including evolving trends, Jenna ensures key messages, campaigns and content reach the right audience at the right time. A masterful project manager, Jenna brings together the right suppliers and teams to deliver powerful strategies.

Angie Christofis

Senior Media and Communications Specialist

Angie is a senior communications and public relations specialist with more than 15 years’ experience shaping reputations and leading high-impact campaigns across diverse sectors, including property, insurance, health, tourism, the arts and not-for-profit. She previously served as Director of PR and Communications Asia Pacific for NYSE-listed Wyndham Hotel Group and Travel + Leisure Co., leading regional strategy across multiple markets, including executive profiling, crisis communications and integrated brand campaigns. Angie has worked with nationally recognised organisations such as Zurich Cover-More, JLL, Cancer Council Queensland and Flight Centre Travel Group delivering strategic communications programs that enhance brand visibility and stakeholder trust. Her expertise spans media relations, content strategy, advertising copywriting and video production. Angie is known for securing consistent and meaningful media coverage that strengthens brand reputation and supports long-term growth.

Ash Moore

Media and Communications Specialist

Ash has worked as a media professional for 14 years. Starting out as a regional radio producer and presenter with the ABC, Ash filed local and national stories for radio and online news and was a finalist in the Rural Press Club awards for coverage of Quilpie’s drought in 2016. He worked in PR for the not-for-profit sector for several years before joining Bespoken. Currently studying a Master of Public Health, Ash applies his evolving knowledge of health and social systems to strengthen his work with related clients. Ash knows good storytelling starts with an understanding of audience, the media, and journalists’ specific needs.

Mike Tuckerman

Media & Communications Specialist

A versatile media and communications professional with more than 20 years’ experience, Mike specialises in taking complex subjects and turning them into easy-to-read, thought-provoking pieces of content. Mike has worked as a journalist and producer at ABC Online, senior copywriter for a range of national corporations and communications manager at Brisbane sports and musculoskeletal tech firm, VALD. With a deep passion for soccer, Mike also moonlights as the Australia correspondent for one of the world’s most widely read football magazines, World Soccer. Holding degrees in history and journalism, Mike is a detail-oriented writer and interviewer capable of identifying compelling angles.

Matt Ogg

Media & Communications Specialist

As a media professional with more than 17 years of experience in multilingual, global and domestic news publishing, Matt relishes telling stories as much as he enjoys listening to them. Inquisitive and creative, he finds substance and relatability in subjects that may appear mundane or overly technical at first glance. Combining this with his empathetic work style and respectful scrutiny makes him a potent communications partner. Matt was recently editor of Business News Australia, where for more than seven years he led an impactful news service while elevating the Australian Young Entrepreneur Awards to national renown, developing a keen eye for identifying outstanding yet unknown founders who would go on to greatness. The prior eight years were spent in Santiago de Chile where he led digital fresh produce news publication FreshFruitPortal.com while coordinating editorial agendas for sister sites in Spanish and Mandarin, travelling regularly and gaining a knack for cross-cultural and domain-specific nuance. His engagement with the horticultural sector has continued since returning to Australia in 2018, including his ongoing co-authorship of the annual International Blueberry Organisation (IBO) Report – a vital reference for decision-makers with no like equivalent in any other fruit crop.

Jye Laarhoven

Jye is a Marketing Specialist who combines strategic thinking with creative problem solving to help businesses grow. Ella is a Social Media and Marketing Assistant who lives and breathes all things media. She started her career as a freelance content creator but made the switch to social media strategy as she began building her own online presence as a micro-influencer. Bringing this hands-on experience to the Bespoken team, Ella works across content creation, marketing and social media management. She uses her extensive social media experience to produce content that goes beyond strong online metrics, delivering real impact through conversions, increased brand awareness and results aligned with each client’s broader business goals. Known for her ability to identify emerging trends and act on them quickly and strategically, Ella has produced multiple successful videos by balancing creativity with purpose, ensuring every piece of content supports the overall strategy.

Greg Bourke

Greg is an experienced project management, communications, and stakeholder engagement professional with over 25 years extensive experience in the tourism, property, transport, government and construction sectors. Greg provides services for companies & entities such as Stockland, Woolworths, Mirvac, John Holland Group, Downer, Tourism Noosa and Toll. Greg has worked on some of Queensland and Australia’s largest projects including AirportLink (Thiess-John Holland), Santos GLNG and Stockland Caloundra South projects, and has also provided project support for government clients, including the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), Dept of Premier and Cabinet (DPC), Disability Services, DATSIP, Dept of Communities, Dept of State Development, Brisbane City Council, City of Melbourne, Parramatta City Council, and the City of the Gold Coast.

Liam McNaught

Liam has more than eight years’ experience in public relations and communications as a Senior Consultant and specialises in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and change communications on major projects and programs in the public and private sector. Liam has experience in managing stakeholder relations, crafting effective communications materials and navigating complex crisis management scenarios pivotal to driving project success. His experience extends over various industries including property, construction and government and has also worked at a senior project officer level for Education Queensland, Translink, the Department of Transport and Main Roads and Brisbane City Council. Stephanie Rose

Stephanie is a media professional with 20 years’ experience across metro and regional media in Australia and the UK. She is now focused on delivering strategic public relations and media campaigns for Bespoken’s valued clients to enhance brand awareness. Steph spent several years in Australian regional media, before a long stint in London working across a range of newspapers both in print and online. She then returned to Brisbane, where she has worked in senior roles in regional and metro newspaper production, including production editor, and acting chief subeditor; consulting with editors, managing a team of production journalists, and whipping editions into shape. With a passion for words, Steph’s news sense ensures she knows what will boost clients’ brands through the media.

Vikki Vaughan

Graphic Designer

Vikki brings 20 years of graphic design experience to the Bespoken team. She is a consummate professional with the ability to understand, interpret and design within strict corporate branding guidelines. A true creative, Vikki can also unleash her innate creativity and develop beautiful designs from scratch. Vikki’s exacting approach means she is detail and deadline focused, producing high quality work, regardless of the size or complexity of the project. With decades of industry experience, including 10 years with the Macquarie Group’s global marketing and communications team, Vikki has experience in delivering all manner of marketing and promotional collateral including large-scale consortium public private partnership tender documents, logo development and design, style guides, digital presentations and client and event branding. With meticulous attention applied to each design project, Vikki’s experience as a freelancer has honed her relationship building and client liaison skills. She can manage suppliers, including printers, always ensuring a quality outcome for clients. Away from her design life, Vikki is a passionate traveller, with adventures from more than 50 countries now residing in her memories. Animal welfare, interior design and real estate are other interests that continue to spark her imagination.
